The JK0-0014 is a single port RJ45 connector with integrated magnetics (ICM) from Pulse Electronics, part of the JK series. It is designed for 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet applications and supports AutoMDIX. The connector features a through hole, 90° right angle (tab-up) orientation for PCB mounting. It is shielded with EMI fingers for improved electromagnetic interference suppression. The jack includes a board guide feature for easy alignment during assembly.
The electrical performance meets IEEE 802.3 specifications with a minimum open circuit inductance of 350 µH at 8 mA bias. Typical insertion loss is -1.0 dB, and return loss ranges from -20 dB at low frequencies to -10 dB at 100 MHz. Common mode rejection is at least -30 dB across 1-125 MHz and -20 dB up to 500 MHz. Crosstalk is -30 dB typical at low frequencies. The connector provides 1500 Vrms isolation voltage.
The JK0-0014 has dual green LEDs for port status indication. Contact material is phosphor bronze with gold plating, and the housing is UL 94 V-0 thermoplastic. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C. The connector is RoHS-5 compliant (contains lead in solder).
