JCM3024S15

The XP Power JCM3024S15 is a high-efficiency isolated DC-DC converter module from the JCM30 series. It provides a single regulated 15V output at 2A, delivering 30W of power from a nominal 24V (18-36V) input. With a typical efficiency of 91%, it minimizes power loss and heat generation.

Key features include remote on/off control (active high enable), overvoltage protection (OVP set at 18V), and short circuit protection (SCP). The converter offers output trim capability of ±10%, initial set accuracy of ±1%, and excellent line and load regulation of ±0.5%. Ripple and noise are specified at 75 mV pk-pk (with 10 µF MLCC, 20 MHz bandwidth). The module can drive capacitive loads up to 1000 µF.

The JCM3024S15 is housed in a compact 6-DIP module with a 1" x 1" footprint (25.4 x 25.4 mm) and a height of 10.4 mm. It is designed for through-hole mounting with a lead pitch of 2.54 mm. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +100°C, allowing full load operation up to 55°C ambient. The module provides 1600VDC input-to-output isolation.

This converter is suitable for ITE (commercial) applications. It has a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 370 kHrs and comes with a 3-year warranty. The module weighs 19 g and has no-load input current of 10 mA.
