The JANTXV1N5617 is a fast recovery rectifier diode from Microchip Technology, part of the 1N5615-1N5623 series. It is designed for high-reliability applications requiring a working peak reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified current of 1A. The device features a maximum forward voltage of 1.6V at 3A and a reverse recovery time of 150ns, making it suitable for fast switching applications.
This diode is packaged in a hermetically sealed voidless glass axial package (A, Axial) and is qualified to MIL-PRF-19500/429 military specifications. It offers a maximum forward surge current of 30A at 8.3ms half-sine and has a junction capacitance of 35pF at 12V and 1MHz. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C, and the thermal resistance from junction to lead is 38°C/W at 3/8 inch lead length.
Ideal for military and other high-reliability applications, the JANTXV1N5617 provides robust performance with its triple-layer passivation and Category I metallurgical bonds. It is also available in surface mount MELF configurations.
