The JANTX1N5613 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed for general-purpose circuit protection. Manufactured by Microchip Technology, it provides a reverse standoff voltage (VRWM) of 175V, a maximum clamping voltage of 265V, and can handle a peak pulse current of 5.7A. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (1.5kW), it offers robust protection against transient overvoltages. The device utilizes Zener technology for fast and reliable clamping. It is suitable for use in a variety of electronic systems where protection from voltage spikes is required.
