The JANTX1N4500 is a switching diode manufactured by Microchip Technology, qualified per MIL-PRF-19500/403. It is designed for high-reliability applications requiring a hermetically sealed, metallurgically bonded, double plug construction.
The diode has a minimum reverse breakdown voltage of 80V at 100 µA. The forward voltage is typically 0.47V at 250mA and a maximum of 1.1V at 300mA. Reverse leakage current is maximum 100 nA at 75V. The reverse recovery time is 6 ns maximum at IF=IR=10mA, RL=100 ohms. Junction capacitance is 4 pF maximum at 0V.
It comes in a through-hole DO-204AH, DO-35, Axial package. The body dimensions are 4.06 mm length and 1.99 mm diameter, with lead diameter 0.56 mm and lead length 38.1 mm. Lead finish is Tin/Lead, and lead material is copper clad steel. The operating temperature range is -65°C to +175°C, with storage temperature up to +200°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 70°C/W.
This diode is suitable for switching and general purpose rectification in military and aerospace systems. The non-repetitive surge current rating is 4A for 1 µs and 0.5A for 1 s. Note that RoHS and REACH compliance status is unverified; the datasheet does not mention RoHS.
