The JAN1N6113AUS is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for high-reliability applications. It features a peak pulse power rating of 500W for a 10/1000 µs pulse and a breakdown voltage of 19V. The device is qualified to MIL-PRF-19500/516 with JAN, JANTX, and JANTXV levels available.
This TVS diode is housed in a voidless hermetically sealed SQ-MELF surface mount package with square end caps. It offers a junction and storage temperature range of -55 to +175°C and a maximum steady-state power dissipation of 2.0W at 25°C ambient or 3.0W at a case temperature of 150°C. Thermal resistance from junction to end cap is 8.3°C/W.
RoHS compliant versions are available for commercial grade applications. The device is designed for military and other high-reliability systems requiring transient voltage protection, and it also provides ESD and EFT protection per IEC 61000-4-2.
