The JAN1N5816R is a general purpose fast recovery rectifier diode manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is designed for applications requiring efficient rectification of alternating current to direct current.
Electrically, the diode has a maximum average rectified current of 20 A and a typical forward voltage drop of 950 mV at 20 A. The reverse recovery time is 35 ns, enabling use in high-frequency switching circuits. The junction capacitance is 300 pF typical at 10 V and 1 MHz.
