The JAN1N5610 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is designed for general purpose circuit protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 30.5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 47.6V at 32A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle up to 1500W of peak pulse power.
The diode has a single unidirectional channel and is not intended for power line protection. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 175°C (junction temperature). The robust construction ensures reliable performance in harsh environments.
The JAN1N5610 is supplied in a G, Axial package (through-hole). The mounting type is through-hole, making it suitable for traditional PCB assembly. The supplier device package is also G, Axial.
Being a general purpose TVS diode, it is suitable for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It is commonly used in industrial, automotive, and telecommunications equipment where high surge capability is required. Note: Compliance data (RoHS, REACH, MSL) is unverified; please consult manufacturer for certification.
