The J20-0014NL is an 8-port RJ45 connector with integrated magnetics from Pulse Electronics, part of the PulseJack 2xN series. It features through hole mounting with solder termination and a shielded design with EMI finger for enhanced electromagnetic interference suppression. The connector supports 10/100 Base-TX Fast Ethernet and AutoMDIX, with bi-color LEDs (green/yellow) per port for link/activity indication.
Electrical performance includes typical insertion loss of -1.0 dB from 1-65 MHz, return loss of -20 dB at 1-10 MHz, common mode rejection of -40 dB at 1-30 MHz, and crosstalk of -30 dB at 1-50 MHz. The integrated magnetics provide a minimum open circuit inductance of 350 µH with 8 mA bias current. The connector is rated for 750 insertion cycles with a maximum mating/unmating force of 5 lbf.
Mechanically, the connector has a height above board of 1.005" (25.53 mm), tab direction up and down, and a board guide feature. It operates over a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and is RoHS compliant with a peak wave solder temperature rating of 260°C.
