The J1026F21CNL from Pulse Electronics is a 1-port RJ45 modular connector jack with integrated magnetics, designed for 10/100 Base-TX Fast Ethernet applications. It features a through hole mounting style with a 90° right angle orientation and tab-up direction. The connector is shielded with an EMI finger for effective electromagnetic interference suppression.
Electrical specifications include a turns ratio of 1CT:1, typical insertion loss of -1.0 dB, return loss of -20 dB at 1-65 MHz, common mode rejection of -40 dB at 1-30 MHz, and crosstalk of -30 dB at 1-50 MHz. The hipot rating is 1500 Vrms minimum, and open circuit inductance is 350 µH minimum with 8 mA bias current. It is suitable for CAT 5 and CAT 6 UTP cables and meets IEEE 802.3 standards.
Mechanical features include a height above board of 0.550" (13.97 mm), a board guide, and a durability of 750 insertions minimum. The housing is made of thermoplastic with UL94 V-0 rating, and contacts are gold-plated phosphor bronze. The connector includes a yellow/green LED indicator.
