The Pulse Electronics J1011F21PNL is a 1-port RJ45 jack with integrated magnetics designed for 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet applications. It features a tab-up orientation, through-hole mounting, and solder termination. The connector is shielded with EMI fingers and includes a board guide for alignment. Contact finish is gold over phosphor bronze, and the housing is made of thermoplastic rated UL 94 V-0. The shield is brass.
Electrical specifications include a 100Ω impedance (±15Ω), 350µH minimum open circuit inductance at 8mA bias, and a 1CT:1 turns ratio for both TX and RX. Typical insertion loss is -1.0 dB, return loss is -20 dB at 1-10 MHz, common mode rejection is -40 dB at 1-30 MHz, and crosstalk is -30 dB at 1-50 MHz. Hipot rating is 1500 Vrms at 60Hz for 1 minute.
Mechanical durability is rated for 750 insertions, with maximum mating and unmating force of 22.24 N and minimum retention force of 88.96 N. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C, and peak wave solder temperature is 260°C. The connector is suitable for CAT 5 and CAT 6 UTP cable and meets IEEE 802.3 specification. It includes Green-Yellow LED indicators and supports AutoMDIX.
