The Pulse Electronics J0C-0006 is a single port RJ45 modular connector jack with integrated magnetics designed for 10/100Base-TX Ethernet applications. This surface mount component features a shielded design with an EMI finger for enhanced electromagnetic interference suppression. The connector has a right-angle 90° orientation with a tab-down configuration and a height above board of 0.545" (13.84mm).

 

Electrical performance meets IEEE 802.3i/u standards with 1CT:1 turns ratio for both transmit and receive channels. Maximum insertion loss is -1.0 dB, and minimum return loss is -18 dB from 1-10 MHz, -14 dB at 30 MHz, and -10 dB from 60-80 MHz. The magnetics provide 1500 Vrms isolation voltage and hipot test rating at 60 Hz for one minute.

 

The connector is terminated via solder and uses phosphor bronze contacts with gold finish. The housing is made of high-temperature thermoplastic rated UL 94 V-0. The part is available in tape and reel packaging by adding a 'T' suffix.
