The Pulse Electronics J0011D01BNL is a single-port RJ45 modular jack with integrated magnetics, designed for 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet applications with AutoMDIX support. This tab-down, 90° angle (right) orientation connector features a shielded phosphor bronze shell with nickel and SN100 plating for EMI protection. The housing is made from UL 94 V-0 rated thermoplastic.
Electrical performance includes a 1CT:1 turns ratio for both transmit and receive channels, minimum 350 µH open circuit inductance at 8mA bias, and minimum 1500 Vrms isolation voltage per IEEE 802.3. Typical insertion loss is -1 dB from 1-65 MHz, with return loss ranging from -20 dB at low frequencies to -10 dB at 60-80 MHz. Crosstalk is typically -40 dB or better across the operating range.
The connector uses phosphor bronze contacts with selective gold plating over nickel underplating, rated for 750 insertions. Maximum mating and unmating force is 5 lbs, with a minimum plug-to-jack retention of 20 lbs. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C. The part is RoHS compliant and rated for peak wave solder temperature of 260°C.
