The Pulse Electronics J00-0045NL is a single-port RJ45 modular connector jack with integrated magnetics, designed for 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet applications. It features a through hole mounting type with a 90° right angle orientation and a tab-down configuration. The connector is shielded with a brass shield and nickel finish, and includes a board guide for alignment.
Electrical performance includes a 1CT:1 turns ratio for both transmit and receive channels, typical insertion loss of -1dB from 1-65 MHz, and return loss of -20dB typical from 1-10 MHz. Crosstalk is typically -40dB from 1-30 MHz, and common mode rejection is -30dB typical from 1-50 MHz. The isolation voltage is rated at 2250VDC minimum, meeting the IEEE 802.3 1500Vrms requirement.
The connector uses phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (15µ" over 50µ" nickel) on the mating area and SN100 solder area finish. The housing is made of thermoplastic UL 94 V-0 rated material. Operating temperature range is 0°C to +70°C. The part includes green and yellow LED indicators.
