ISP2053-AX-EB

The ISP2053-AX-EB is an evaluation board for the ISP2053 module from Insight SiP. The module is an ultra-small LGA package (8 x 8 x 1 mm) based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF5340 chip with a dual-core ARM Cortex M33 processor. It supports multiple wireless protocols including Bluetooth 5.2 LE Audio, Thread, Zigbee, 802.15.4, ANT, and NFC. The module features an integrated antenna, fully matched RF, and onboard clocks.

The evaluation board provides access to 46 GPIOs and digital interfaces such as USB, QSPI, SPI, UART, I²S, PDM, and PWM. It operates from a supply voltage of 1.7 V to 5.5 V and over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. Security features include ARM TrustZone and CryptoCell 312. The board is RoHS and REACH compliant and includes a conflict mineral declaration.

This evaluation platform is suitable for prototyping and developing applications in professional lighting, industrial automation, advanced wearables, medical devices, smart home, and asset tracking. The module's dual-core architecture provides dedicated application and network processing with 1 MB flash and 512 KB RAM for the application processor and 256 KB flash and 64 KB RAM for the network processor.
