ISO5452DW

The Texas Instruments ISO5452DW is a high-performance, single-channel isolated gate driver designed for demanding applications. It offers a robust 5.7kVrms isolation rating, ensuring safety and signal integrity in high-voltage systems.

This device features split outputs capable of delivering 2.5A peak source and 5A peak sink currents, making it suitable for driving IGBT and MOSFET power switches efficiently. With a wide operating voltage range of 15V to 30V for the output and 2.25V to 5.5V for the input supply, it provides flexibility in system design. The ISO5452DW boasts a short propagation delay of 76ns typical and a fast rise time of 18ns typical.

Packaged in a 16-SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm Width) surface-mount case, this gate driver operates within an extended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It includes features such as active miller clamp, fault reporting, power good, short circuit protection, and soft turn-off, enhancing system reliability and protection. The high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 50kV/µs minimum ensures stable operation in noisy environments.

Key electrical specifications include a withstand isolation voltage of 5700 Vrms and a working isolation voltage of 1000 Vrms.
