Designed for robust performance, the ISO1412DW operates with a logic-side supply (VCC1) ranging from 1.71V to 5.5V and a bus-side supply (VCC2) from 3V to 5.5V. It includes failsafe receivers for bus open, short, and idle conditions, and offers high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of up to 100 kV/µs.

 

This transceiver is housed in a wide-body SOIC-16 package, suitable for surface mounting. It is pin-compatible with many existing isolated RS-485 transceivers and is designed for extended operating temperatures from -40°C to 125°C. The device also features glitch-free power-up and power-down for hot-plugging applications.
