The ISL9V5036P3 is an N-Channel Ignition IGBT from On Semiconductor's ECOSPARK family. It is designed specifically for automotive ignition coil driver circuits and coil-on-plug applications. This device offers a logic-level gate drive and internal voltage clamping diodes.
Key electrical specifications include a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 390V (minimum at 1mA), continuous collector current of 46A at 25°C (31A at 110°C), and a maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage of 1.6V at Vge=4V, Ic=10A. The device can withstand 500mJ short circuit energy at 25°C and 300mJ at 150°C. Gate charge is typically 32nC.
