The ISL9V2040D3ST is an N-channel IGBT from On Semiconductor designed for medium voltage switching applications. It features a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 430V and a continuous collector current rating of 10A, with a maximum power dissipation of 130W. The saturation voltage is 1.9V maximum at a gate voltage of 4V and collector current of 6A. Gate charge is 12nC, and the turn-on delay time is 3.64µs maximum under test conditions of 300V, 1kΩ, and 5V gate drive. The device has a logic-level input, making it compatible with low-voltage control circuits.
The IGBT is housed in a TO-252-3 (DPak) surface mount package with a supplier device package of TO-252AA. It operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 175°C. This component is suitable for motor drives, power inverters, and other power conversion systems where efficient switching at medium frequencies is required. Note that a full datasheet is not currently available for verification of additional parameters such as switching losses or thermal resistance.
