The ISL9R460PF2 is a 600V, 4A STEALTH diode optimized for low loss performance in high frequency hard switched applications. It exhibits ultrafast reverse recovery time (trr) of 17 ns typical at 4A, reducing switching losses in power supplies and converters. The forward voltage is typically 2.0V at 25°C and 1.6V at 125°C, with maximum ratings of 2.4V and 2.0V respectively. The device is avalanche energy rated at 10 mJ, ensuring robustness in inductive switching environments. With a maximum reverse leakage current of 100 µA at 25°C and 1.0 mA at 125°C, it provides reliable blocking performance. The junction capacitance is 19 pF typical. The diode is designed for through-hole mounting in a TO-220-2 Full Pack package (TO-220F-2L), with a power dissipation of 22W. It is RoHS3 compliant and Pb-free. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 175°C. This diode is suitable for use as a freewheeling diode, boost diode in PFC circuits, and in SMPS and UPS applications. Its soft recovery characteristic minimizes ringing, expanding the range of conditions without additional snubber circuitry.
