The ISL9R30120G2 is a STEALTH diode from ON Semiconductor optimized for low loss performance in high frequency hard switched applications. It offers a maximum average forward current of 30 A at TC=80°C and a maximum reverse voltage of 1200 V. The device features a typical reverse recovery time of 269 ns at IF=30 A and a maximum forward voltage of 3.3 V at IF=30 A and TC=25°C. The STEALTH technology provides low reverse recovery current and exceptionally soft recovery, minimizing ringing and reducing the need for snubber circuitry.
The diode is avalanche energy rated with a minimum avalanche energy of 20 mJ at 1 A, 40 mH. It has a maximum power dissipation of 166 W at TC=25°C and a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 0.75 °C/W. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +175°C.
The ISL9R30120G2 is housed in a TO-247-2 through-hole package and is supplied in tube packaging with a standard quantity of 30 pieces. It is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant.
