The Intersil ISL84684IUZ-T is a bidirectional, dual SPDT analog switch designed for single supply operation from +1.65V to +3.6V. It offers a low on-resistance of 0.35Ω at +3.0V and fast switching times of 50ns (tON) and 27ns (tOFF). This device is ideal for battery-powered equipment where low power consumption (<0.2µW) and efficient switching are critical.
The ISL84684IUZ-T is designed to address ASIC functionality limitations, particularly in devices like cell phones, by allowing additional functionality to be multiplexed without increasing ASIC design risk. Its digital logic inputs are 1.8V compatible when using a +3V supply. The switch consists of two normally open (NO) and two normally closed (NC) switches, enabling its use as a dual 2-to-1 multiplexer.
