ISL54105ACRZ

The ISL54105ACRZ from Intersil is a TMDS timing regenerator designed for high-performance applications. It incorporates a programmable equalizer and a clock data recovery (CDR) function for each of the three TMDS pairs found in HDMI or DVI signals. This regeneration process ensures that the TMDS data outputs are perfectly aligned with the regenerated TMDS clock signal, resulting in a clean, low-jitter DVI/HDMI signal that is easily decoded by TMDS receivers.

This device can function as a cable extender, clean up noisy or jittery TMDS sources, or provide a stable TMDS signal to sensitive receivers. Key features include clock data recovery and re-timing, programmable pre-emphasis on the output driver, and programmable internal termination options of 50 , 100, or high-Z. Operation can be stand-alone or controlled via I2C software.

The ISL54105ACRZ is housed in a 72-lead, 10mm x 10mm QFN package and is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. Its applications include DVI/HDMI extenders, televisions, PC monitors, and projectors.
