The IRG4PC40FD is a single N-channel IGBT designed for high-efficiency power switching applications. It offers a collector-emitter voltage rating of 600V and a continuous collector current of 49A, with a maximum power dissipation of 160W. The device features a low saturation voltage of 1.7V at 15V gate drive and 27A collector current, minimizing conduction losses. Switching performance is characterized by a turn-on delay of 63ns and turn-off delay of 230ns, with total switching energy of 950µJ (on) and 2.01mJ (off) under test conditions of 480V, 27A, and 10Ω gate resistance. The built-in anti-parallel diode has a reverse recovery time of 42ns. The IRG4PC40FD is housed in a standard TO-247-3 through-hole package (TO-247AC), suitable for mounting on heatsinks in power converters, motor drives, and uninterruptible power supplies.
