The connector is designed for board to cable/wire applications and mates with Samtec MMSD, MMSS, MMSDT, and MMSST cable assemblies.

 

The header has a 4-wall shrouded design with a locking ramp fastening type for secure mating. The insulator is made of natural Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with 10 µ" (0.25 µm) gold on the contact area and matte tin on the tail, over 50 µ" (1.27 µm) nickel underplating.

 

Electrical ratings include a voltage rating of 675 VAC / 954 VDC and a current rating of 4.8 A per pin (with 2 pins powered using 20 AWG wire). The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. The -K option indicates keyed polarization for proper alignment during mating.
