The IP4254CZ16-8,118 is an 8-channel integrated RC (Pi) low pass filter array from NXP Semiconductors. It combines a π-type resistor-capacitor network with ESD protection diodes, providing filtering of undesired RF signals on I/O ports of portable devices while protecting downstream components from electrostatic discharge up to ±30 kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2.
Each channel features a series resistance of 100 Ω (typical) and a capacitance of 30 pF (typical at 100 kHz, 2.5 V bias). The filter delivers 28 dB attenuation across the 800 MHz to 3 GHz frequency range. The device is a 2nd order filter, suitable for EMI/RFI suppression in high-speed data lines.
Housed in a 16-lead XFDFN (QFN) exposed pad package measuring 3.30 mm x 1.35 mm x 0.55 mm (height), with a 0.4 mm lead pitch. It is surface mountable and operates over -40°C to +85°C. The device is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-free, and halogen/antimony free (Dark Green compliant).
Designed for general-purpose EMI and RFI filtering in cellular phones, wireless LAN/WAN systems, mobile internet devices, and portable media players. Also suitable for downstream ESD protection in communication interfaces.
