The Power Integrations INN2604K is a highly integrated offline switch IC from the InnoSwitch™-EP family. It is designed to simplify the development of low-voltage, high-current power supplies, particularly those requiring compact enclosures and high efficiency.
This IC incorporates a 725V MOSFET, secondary-side sensing, and synchronous rectification driver, along with a FluxLink™ feedback link for HIPOT isolation. It offers exceptional CV accuracy and excellent multi-output cross-regulation. The device operates with a switching frequency of 100kHz and supports a 60% duty cycle, providing up to 27W of power.
Key features include advanced protection mechanisms such as primary sensed output OVP, secondary sensed output overshoot clamp, and secondary sensed output OCP to zero output voltage. It also has hysteretic thermal shutdown and input voltage monitoring for brown-in/brown-out and overvoltage protection. The InnoSwitch-EP architecture enables less than 10mW no-load power consumption at 230 VAC.
