The INA282AQDRQ1 from Texas Instruments is a high-accuracy, wide common-mode range, bi-directional current shunt monitor. It is qualified for automotive applications and AEC-Q100 certified.
This device features a voltage output and can sense voltage drops across shunts with common-mode voltages ranging from -14V to +80V, independent of the supply voltage. The zero-drift architecture enables current sensing with very low full-scale drops. It operates from a single supply voltage of +2.7V to +18V and draws a maximum of 900μA of supply current.
Key electrical specifications include an offset voltage of ±20 μV, a Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR) of 140 dB, and a gain error of ±0.4% maximum. The device is specified over an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
The INA282AQDRQ1 is available in an 8-SOIC package and is suitable for applications in telecom equipment, automotive systems, power management, and solar inverters.
