The Siemens ILD620GB is a multi-channel input phototransistor optocoupler utilizing inverse parallel GaAs IRLED emitters and high gain NPN silicon phototransistors per channel. Constructed with over/under leadframe optical coupling and double molded insulation, it achieves a withstand test voltage of 7500 VAC PEAK.
Key electrical specifications include a high collector-emitter breakdown voltage (BV CEO) of 70 V. The ILD620GB variant offers a minimum Current Transfer Ratio (CTR) of 100% at 5 mA forward current and a minimum saturated CTR (CTR SAT) of 30% at 1 mA forward current. Maximum ratings per channel include 60 mA forward current and 50 mA collector current.
This optocoupler is designed for applications such as AC voltage detection, benefiting from its field-effect stable TRIOS process and elimination of the phototransistor base connection for added electrical noise immunity. The dual and quad packages reduce board space and pin count.
Environmental specifications include an operating temperature range of -55°C to +100°C and a storage temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The device is suitable for through-hole mounting.
