The IL221AT, IL222AT, and IL223AT series from Vishay Dale are high current transfer ratio (CTR) optocouplers. They utilize a gallium arsenide infrared LED emitter and a silicon NPN photodarlington transistor detector.
These optocouplers are constructed in a standard SOIC-8 surface mountable package, making them suitable for high-density applications. The device offers an isolation test voltage of 4000 VRMS, providing robust electrical isolation.
The IL221AT series is designed for low input current applications, allowing for easy interfacing from CMOS to LSTTL or TTL logic levels. The photodarlington output stage provides high gain.
Compatible with various soldering methods including dual wave, vapor phase, and IR reflow, this optocoupler is well-suited for automated assembly processes. It is available on tape and reel, conforming to EIA standard RS481A.
