The JAE Electronics IL-FHJ-21S-HF is a 21-position connector assembly designed for flexible flat cable (FFC) and flexible printed circuit (FPC) applications. It utilizes a slider mechanism for secure and easy engagement of the flex cable to the contacts.
This connector features a 0.3mm pitch and a 0.6mm contact spacing, suitable for FPCs with a 0.3mm center and 0.2mm thickness with reinforcement. The current rating is 0.35 Amps, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 250 VAC r.m.s. for one minute. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
The IL-FHJ series is ideal for use in audio-visual equipment, camcorders, personal computers, mobile computers, wireless devices, and mobile phones. The connector has a right-angle termination style and is designed for surface mounting. It is available in embossed tape for automatic mounting, with 2,000 pieces per reel.
The base insulator is made of glass-filled LCP (UL94V-0) in beige, and the contacts are copper alloy with tin plating. The slider is constructed from glass-filled PPS in brown.
