The Vishay Dale IHSM7832RG101L is a high-current, surface mount wirewound molded inductor designed for applications requiring excellent power line noise filtering, RFI suppression, and DC/DC conversion. It features a 100µH inductance with a ±15% tolerance, a maximum DC resistance of 226mΩ, and a rated current of 1.7A. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C (no load) and -55°C to +85°C (at full rated current).
Constructed with a high resistivity ferrite core and an epoxy encapsulant, this inductor offers superior environmental protection and moisture resistance. The terminals are made of 100% Sn over Ni, making them compatible with infrared or conventional reflow soldering methods. Its dimensions are 21.34mm in length, 8.13mm in width, and 7.24mm in height, and it is pick and place compatible.
This component is suitable for filters in switching regulated power supplies, SCR and triac controls, and general RFI suppression. The flame retardant encapsulant meets UL 94 V-0 standards.
