The ICTE5-E3/54 is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from Vishay Dale designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a clamping voltage of 7.5V, capable of handling peak pulse currents up to 160A with a peak pulse power rating of 1500W. The device operates over a wide temperature range from -55°C to 175°C.
This TVS diode uses Zener technology to provide reliable overvoltage protection in a variety of electronic circuits. It is housed in a through-hole DO-201AA (DO-27, Axial) package, making it suitable for board-level protection where axial leaded components are preferred. The unidirectional configuration protects against positive transient voltages.
