The Renesas ICL7660SCBAZ is a high-performance monolithic CMOS super voltage converter IC. It offers significant advantages over similar devices, including an extended operating supply voltage range up to 12V and lower supply current. This device performs supply voltage conversions from positive to negative for an input range of 1.5V to 12V, resulting in complementary output voltages of -1.5V to -12V. It requires only two non-critical external capacitors for charge pump and charge reservoir functions.
