The Mean Well ICL-16L is a 16A AC inrush current limiter designed to reduce high starting current caused by capacitive loads, preventing false triggering of circuit breakers. It accepts an AC input voltage of 180 to 264 VAC at 47 to 63 Hz and provides 23A inrush current limiting with 16A continuous rated current.
This module integrates a bypass relay with a limiting time of 300 ± 50 ms and a release time of 500 ± 50 ms. It features internal thermal protection via a thermal fuse and supports a maximum capacitive load of 2500 µF. The operating temperature range is -30 to +70 °C with a temperature coefficient of ±0.03 %/°C.
The ICL-16L is a DIN Rail mount module with 1 pole. It is approved to CE and EAC standards and complies with overvoltage category III and pollution degree 2 per IEC62368-1.
