Key features include enhanced Active Burst Mode with selectable entry and exit standby power, enabling standby power consumption below 100 mW. Digital frequency reduction and frequency jitter with soft gate driving contribute to better system efficiency and lower EMI. The device supports DCM and CCM operation with slope compensation and includes a built-in digital soft start.

 

Comprehensive protection functions are integrated, including input line over voltage protection, VCC over voltage, VCC under voltage, overload/open loop, and over temperature protection, all operating in auto restart mode. The ICE5GR1680AG is housed in a PG-DSO-12 package suitable for surface mounting.

 

This integrated power IC is designed for auxiliary power supplies in home appliances, TVs, PCs, servers, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and LCD/LED monitors.
