The Samtec ICA-324-STT is a 24-position DIP socket designed for through-hole mounting on printed circuit boards. It features a 2.54mm pitch and 0.300" (7.62mm) row spacing, accommodating standard DIP IC packages with 24 pins arranged in a 2 x 12 grid.
This socket uses beryllium copper contacts with a 10µ" (0.25µm) gold finish for reliable electrical connection, paired with a tin shell. The housing is made from black glass-filled polyester rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. The open frame design facilitates air flow and inspection of solder joints.
Electrical specifications include a 1A current rating, 10 mΩ maximum contact resistance, 1000 Vrms withstanding voltage, and 5000 MΩ minimum insulation resistance. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 105°C.
