HXS 20-NP

The LEM HXS 20-NP is a versatile Hall effect current transducer designed for precise measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents. It provides galvanic separation between the primary and secondary circuits, ensuring safety and signal integrity.

This sensor features a nominal primary RMS current of ±20 A and a measuring range up to ±60 A. It operates with a single 5V supply and offers a ratiometric voltage output with a nominal sensitivity of 0.625 V/A. Key performance specifications include an accuracy of ±1%, linearity error of ±0.5% (0 to IP N), and a fast response time of less than 5 µs. The frequency bandwidth extends from DC up to 50 kHz.

Designed for PCB mounting, the HXS 20-NP has an extremely low profile of less than 11 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. The sensor utilizes Hall effect technology in an open-loop configuration, providing fixed offset and sensitivity for reliable performance in industrial environments.
