The Samtec HW-08-16-L-D-250-SM is a high-temperature flexible board stacking header designed for elevated board stacking applications. It features 16 positions arranged in 2 rows with a standard 2.54mm (0.100 in) pitch. The stacker height is 6.35mm (0.250 in), providing precise spacing between boards.
The header uses phosphor bronze contacts with a 10µin gold finish over 50µin nickel, ensuring reliable electrical connections. The insulator is made of black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) for the bottom and natural LCP for the top, capable of withstanding operating temperatures from -55°C to +125°C with gold plating.
This surface mount component has a maximum SMT lead coplanarity of 0.15mm and is lead-free solderable. It is packaged in tubes of 28 pieces. The HW series allows customization of post height and body position in 0.005in increments for non-standard stacking heights.
