The HSMS-2820-TR1 is a single RF Schottky barrier diode from Broadcom, part of the HSMS-282x series. It is specifically designed for both analog and digital RF applications including mixing, detecting, switching, sampling, clamping, and wave shaping. The diode offers low turn-on voltage (340mV at 1mA), low series resistance (12 ohms at 5mA), and low capacitance (1pF at 0V), making it suitable for high-frequency circuits. It has a minimum reverse breakdown voltage of 15V and a maximum reverse leakage current of 100nA at 10V. The device is housed in a surface mount SOT-23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59) with gull-wing leads, and operates at junction temperatures up to 150°C.
