The Samtec HSEC8-130-01-S-DV-A-K-TR is a high-speed edge card socket from the HSEC8 series, designed for vertical mounting on a PCB. It features 60 positions arranged in two rows with a 0.80mm pitch, accepting a 1.57mm thick card. The connector uses dual readout cantilever contacts made of beryllium copper with 30.0µin gold plating for reliable signal integrity.
This connector is rated for 2.8A per pin (2 pins powered) and 240 VAC, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP), and the connector includes a board guide and locking ramp for secure mating. It is surface mount with solder termination and is supplied in tape and reel packaging.
The HSEC8 series supports up to 64 Gbps PAM4 performance and is compatible with PCI Express 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0 standards. The Edge Rate contact design optimizes signal integrity and cycle life.
