The Honeywell HMC1043-TR is a miniature three-axis surface mount sensor array designed for low-field magnetic sensing. Utilizing Honeywell's Anisotropic Magnetoresistive (AMR) technology, it offers high sensitivity for measuring the direction and magnitude of Earth's magnetic fields.
This sensor features a Wheatstone bridge output and operates over a wide supply voltage range of 1.8V to 10V. It is designed for low-profile vertical sensing applications with a low height of 1.40mm. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
Applications include compassing, navigation systems, magnetometry, and current sensing. The HMC1043-TR is available in a 16-LPCC package and is compatible with high-speed SMT assembly. Its wide magnetic field range and patented offset and set/reset straps allow for stray magnetic field compensation.
