The HLSR Series current sensors from LEM, including the HLSR32-SM/SP33 model, are engineered for accurate electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents. They provide essential galvanic isolation between primary and secondary circuits, utilizing open-loop Hall-effect technology for reliable performance in industrial applications.
This series offers multiple current ranges, including 10, 20, 32, 40, and 50 ARMS, with a measurement capability up to 2.5 times the nominal current (Ipn), ensuring accuracy under dynamic conditions. The HLSR sensors are exclusively designed for PCB mounting, available in through-hole (HLSR-P) and surface-mount (HLSR-SM) versions. Their compact design occupies only 3.87 cm² of PCB area with a height of 12 mm, making them ideal for space-constrained applications.
Sensors within the HLSR Series are available with either analog voltage output or digital output. Analog versions offer low offset and gain drift with short response times. Digital output variants feature an integrated Sigma-Delta Modulator, delivering a Pulse Density Modulation (PDM) bitstream for enhanced precision and flexible signal processing. Digital interface options include 2-wire CMOS, 2-wire RS422 Manchester, and 2-wire LVDS Manchester, supporting current measurement ranges from 16 ARMS to 50 ARMS.
