The Samtec HLE-108-02-G-DV-K is a 16 position (2 rows of 8) female socket receptacle from the HLE series. It features a 2.54mm pitch and 2.54mm row spacing, designed for board-to-board stacking applications. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer, and the contacts are beryllium copper with gold flash on the contact area and matte tin on the tails, over 50 µ" nickel underplating.
Electrical ratings include 4.1A per contact (with 2 pins powered) and 400VAC. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. The connector uses a push-pull fastening type and includes a pick and place polyimide film pad for automated assembly. Insertion depth is 1.78mm to 3.43mm.
The connector is surface mount with solder termination, SMT lead coplanarity of 0.10mm, and is lead-free solderable. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging. This receptacle mates with Samtec TSW, MTSW, DW, EW, ZW, TLW, TSM, MTLW, and HW header series.
