The HLE-108-02-G-DV-A is a 16-position receptacle from Samtec's HLE series, designed for board-to-board applications. It features a 2.54mm pitch and 2 rows of female socket contacts, making it suitable for high-density interconnections. The connector is surface mount with solder termination, and includes a board guide for alignment.
The insulator is black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with an insulation height of 3.66mm. Contacts are made of beryllium copper with gold flash on the contact area and matte tin on the tails, over a 50µ" nickel underplating. This ensures reliable electrical performance and solderability.
Electrical ratings include 4.1A per contact (with 2 pins powered) and 400VAC, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The connector is lead-free solderable and compatible with standard surface mount processes. It mates with a variety of Samtec header series such as TSW, MTSW, and TSM.
The connector is available in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly. The push-pull fastening type and optional locking clip or alignment pin options provide design flexibility. This product is suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial electronic applications requiring a reliable, durable board-to-board connection.
