HFCN-880 Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The Mini-Circuits HFCN-880 is a ceramic high pass filter with a 50 Ohm impedance. It features a wide passband from 950 to 3200 MHz, with a maximum insertion loss of 1.3 dB in the 1060-2500 MHz range and 2.0 dB across the entire 950-3200 MHz band. The filter provides significant rejection in the stop band, with a minimum of 20 dB at 640 MHz and 40 dB at 500 MHz. Its cut-off frequency is rated at 880 MHz.

This filter is constructed using LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technology, contributing to its temperature stability and small size. It boasts excellent power handling capabilities, rated at 7W maximum input power at +25°C, derating linearly to 3W at 100°C ambient. The operating and storage temperature range is -55°C to +100°C.

The HFCN-880 is housed in a compact FV1206 case style and is suitable for applications such as sub-harmonic rejection, transmitters, receivers, and general lab use. It is hermetically sealed for enhanced reliability.
