The Mini-Circuits HFCN-8400+ is a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) high pass filter designed for applications requiring rejection of frequencies below 8400 MHz. It operates over a passband of 9000 to 13000 MHz with a typical insertion loss of 1.43 dB at 9500 MHz and a maximum of 2.5 dB across the band. The filter provides a typical VSWR of 1.5:1 in the passband and offers stop band rejection of at least 20 dB at 6000 MHz and 30 dB at 5700 MHz.
This filter is rated for a maximum RF input power of 7W at 25°C, derated linearly to 3W at 100°C. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 100°C and is constructed using hermetically sealed LTCC technology for temperature stability and reliability. The device contains 5 filter sections.
The HFCN-8400+ is housed in a compact 6-SMD, No Lead package (case style FV1206-1) measuring 3.20 mm x 1.60 mm x 1.07 mm, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is supplied on tape and reel (F75) for automated pick-and-place.
