The HFCN-4600+ is a 5-section LTCC high pass filter from Mini-Circuits designed for applications requiring rejection of sub-harmonic frequencies. It covers a passband of 5000 to 11000 MHz with a maximum insertion loss of 2.0 dB (1.5 dB typical in the 5200-10500 MHz range). Typical VSWR is 1.5:1 across 4720-11000 MHz. Stopband rejection is at least 30 dB at 3700 MHz, with a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 4600 MHz. The filter handles up to 7W RF power at 25°C, derating linearly to 3.5W at 100°C.
The filter is housed in a hermetically sealed, surface mount FV1206-1 package (6-SMD, No Lead) measuring 3.20 mm x 1.60 mm. It is temperature stable over the -55°C to 100°C operating range and weighs 0.020 grams. The LTCC construction ensures low cost and excellent repeatability.
