The Mini-Circuits HFCN-440+ is a 50 Ohm LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) high pass filter designed for applications from 500 to 2500 MHz. It features a 7-section design that provides a sharp cutoff at 440 MHz (3 dB point) with typical rejection of 40 dB at 230 MHz and 20 dB at 350 MHz. In the passband, insertion loss is typically 0.38 dB at 1000 MHz and 1.52 dB at 500 MHz, with a maximum of 1.3 dB from 600 to 1700 MHz. VSWR is typically 1.5:1 across the passband.
The filter is built with LTCC construction for excellent temperature stability and is hermetically sealed. It can handle up to 7W RF input power at 25°C (derated linearly to 3W at 100°C). The operating temperature range is -55°C to +100°C.
The HFCN-440+ is housed in a compact FV1206 case style (3.20 mm x 1.60 mm x 0.94 mm) with a 4-SMD no lead footprint, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging (F71).
