HFCN-3100+ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The HFCN-3100+ is a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) high pass filter from Mini-Circuits, designed for 50 Ohm systems. It covers a passband from 3400 to 9900 MHz with a maximum insertion loss of 2.0 dB across the full band and 1.5 dB from 3500 to 9500 MHz. The cutoff frequency is 3100 MHz (3 dB point), providing sharp rejection below the passband: at least 20 dB at 2450 MHz. The filter features 5 sections for high selectivity and maintains typical VSWR of 1.5:1 in the passband.

This hermetic SMD filter is built on LTCC construction, ensuring excellent temperature stability and reliability. It can handle up to 7W RF input power at +25°C, derated linearly to 3W at +100°C. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +100°C, equal to the storage temperature range.

The HFCN-3100+ is packaged in a compact 6-SMD, No Lead case style FV1206-1, measuring 3.20mm x 1.60mm with a maximum height of 1.07mm. It is supplied in tape and reel format (F75). Typical applications include sub-harmonic rejection in transmitters and receivers for wireless communication systems.
